RVA Construction Announces New Projects
Firm Begins 2010 with Strong Growth
Richmond, VA – February 18, 2010 – RVA Construction, a commercial Class- A general contractor serving the Richmond region, today announces four new project awards, the Y-CAPP Community Center, Lehja Restaurant, Mary Washington Eye Center, and Chesterfield Optometric.
Y-CAPP Community Center
RVA will construct a new 4-story, 36,000 square foot headquarters and community center for Y-CAPP in Richmond. The project includes an underground parking garage, a regulation-size basketball court with seating for 500, and many green construction elements, including a green roof. Construction will begin Summer 2010 with expected completion by Summer 2011.
Lehja Restaurant
Construction is currently underway for an upscale Indian restaurant within the Sierra Hotel in Short Pump. The restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor seating areas, as well as a 40-ft. bar.
Mary Washington Eye Center
A new 3,000 square foot medical office space within the Cosner Corner Medical Office Park is currently underway in Fredericksburg, VA. The project includes a full optical shop, procedure and exam rooms, lab and Lasik surgery center.
Chesterfield Optometric
RVA will complete a 6,000 square foot addition and renovation to an existing optometry office. The new office will contain a full optical shop, procedure and exam rooms, and lab.
