Recently, several of our RVA Construction team members completed a multi-step safety recertification course about the proper operation of scissor lifts, forklifts, and aerial lifts. In addition to coordinating the classroom portion of the training, we partnered with Sunbelt Rentals to provide a hands-on training experience to ensure that each of our employees was and is confidently equipped with the skills to operate and maintain these types of equipment.
These lifts are important construction tools that we use frequently to transport heavy objects and materials on our job sites. When operated correctly, they help our team members navigate and complete projects in an efficient and organized manner. However, operating any of the lifts without proper training can pose a major safety issue. Because the safety of our team and our clients is our number one priority, we’re committed to offering each RVA Construction employee the proper safety training and education for both the construction equipment and processes we use. We strive to always lead with safety.
