The Northside Family Learning Center

This project, sponsored by the Robins Foundation, is a combination daycare and adult education facility. It is a LEED-Gold certified project and was voted first place for Sustainable Design by the Urban Land Institute (ULI). VCU renamed the building to the “VCU Health System Family Care Center Northside.” The center serves up to 112 children and their families, it and provides a space for children to receive developmental and educational support while honing thier cognitive and emotional skills.
